My nephew finally arrived! He was due while I was in Seattle for ALA, but stubbornly decided to wait to debut until the day after I left. In my admittedly biased opinion, he's beautiful. I'm in the midst of coordinating a long weekend trip back home in February--I need to exercise my baby-holding privileges as soon as possible. My brother and sister-in-law are doing well and are definitely going to be great parents. My parents are over the moon in love with this little guy. It's hard to believe they're grandparents.
