Sad to say, but just give up. I can't count how many times people on my LJ FList announce that they've been away for X Days and aren't going to be reading everything. I always figure that if it's important enough, I'll hear about it from someone in person.
I gave up.
First I would just scrap it and start over, then I realized that RSS was stressing me out. Sometimes the future is too much to handle.
